Be aware of thunderstorms in your area and be prepared to take shelter. .Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small streams, and washes. Isolated flash floods possible. .Excessive Heat...Heat index 112-114 degrees across coastal areas of southwestern to northwestern to San Juan metro area. Hot conditions are expected for the rest of the coastal zones as well. Heat exhaustion or heat stroke likely with prolonged exposure. .Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the surf zone particularly southwestern PR. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday A deep layered trough moving across the Caribbean Basin will cause conditions to deteriorate with heavy showers and thunderstorms across most of the area through into the weekend. Flooding remains the greatest threat throughout this time. On Wednesday night through Thursday winds will strengthen, bringing hazardous marine conditions for the southwestern regional waters and a moderate risk of rip currents for most beaches. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
